Franchise Banking Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Franchise Banking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Business Banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with franchise business owners, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert advice on financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with franchise business owners, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new franchise customers.
- Provide expert advice on financial solutions, including business banking products and services.
- Work closely with the ACE and EO Franchising team to process deals and ensure compliance with Bank policies.
- Contribute to the assigned market area's overall financial and non-financial objectives.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business law, or economics.
- Experience in the field of franchising, either educational or working.
- Knowledge of business products and services, selling approach, and selling tools.
- Expert knowledge of the marketplace and the franchising segment.
- Working knowledge of applicable software and technology platforms.
The successful candidate will spend 90% of their time away from an office environment, working with the Sales team in Branches or with customers/prospect facilities, travelling to conduct marketing activities and other customer interviews, trade shows, COI events, etc.
