Job Title: District Sales Manager

Sales Position Overview

GSI Electronics Inc is a leading global company that develops technological solutions for farmers. We are currently looking for a District Sales Manager for the Eastern Canada region to join our Sales Team.

As a District Sales Manager, you will work under the supervision of the Director, Farm Sales Grain, to maintain relationships with current clients. You will develop and implement strategies to achieve performance objectives and be responsible for business development within your territory.

Your knowledge and understanding of GSI products, combined with your experience in the agricultural sector, will enable you to master the development of new technologies and propose value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement all aspects of customer coverage and support to achieve targeted sales and market share targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry contacts to stay informed about technical, competitive, and other developments that can positively impact GSI's operations.
  • Assist customers and GSI with promotional events such as trade shows, open houses, and other customer/products events.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all GSI products.
  • Train clients on the features and benefits of the products.
  • Collaborate with other regional directors, management, customer services representatives, and other functions.
  • Manage and coordinate needs to achieve business and financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement performance tracking tools.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality in the services offered to clients.

Requirements

  • Technical education in agriculture, agronomy, sales, or another related field, or a combined experience related to the position.
  • Three years of experience in sales.
  • One year of experience in sales relating to grain storage.
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector.
  • Knowledge of agricultural technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Autonomous.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
