Job Overview

The Demand Planner will play a critical role in ensuring that the assigned categories' inventory levels meet customer demand while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain accurate forecasted inventory plans to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and make recommendations to adjust procurement, production, or sales strategies as necessary.
  • Develop strategies to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
Forecasting and Demand Planning
  • Create and maintain 12-month 'Category' calendars based on Techo-Bloc needs, release periods, and historical sales volume.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns.
Analysis, Reporting, and Recommendations
  • Present and align actionable recommendations with the sales team, operations, and senior management to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the monthly Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) with other company leaders and executives to align sales objectives, establish sales strategies, and identify external variables that will impact forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management of wholesale, retail, CPG, or similar business units.
