Job Title: District Sales Manager

Job Summary:

GSI Electronics Inc is seeking a highly skilled District Sales Manager to join our team in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients and developing strategies to achieve performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer coverage and support plans to achieve targeted sales and market share targets.
  • Maintain industry contacts to stay up-to-date on technical, competitive, and other developments that can positively impact GSI's operations.
  • Assist customers and GSI with promotional events such as trade shows, open houses, and other customer/product events.
  • Ensure in-depth knowledge of all GSI products and train clients on their features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with other regional directors, management, customer services representatives, and other functions to achieve business and financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement performance tracking tools to ensure a high standard of quality in services offered to clients.

Requirements:

  • Technical education in agriculture, agronomy, sales, or a related field, or a combination of experience related to the position.
  • Three years of experience in sales, with one year of experience in sales relating to grain storage.
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector and agricultural technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, autonomy, and bilingualism (French and English).
