This is an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator in our Vancouver office. As a national role, you will support and coordinate the health and safety of our people and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update existing health and safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide health and safety expertise on project matters and concerns.
  • Lead the Occupational Health & Safety committee by addressing workplace issues and training representatives.
  • Create and maintain a Business Continuity Plan for all Kasian offices.
  • Coordinate safe work procedures, hazard assessments, worksite inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in the construction industry and health and safety management.
  • Formal education and/or training in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification is desirable.
  • Experience with Certificate of Recognition (COR) and Safety Group (IHSA).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

The salary for this position starts at $75,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
