Job Summary

We are seeking a Health and Safety Expert to join our team in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing customers with training in health and safety, having a significant impact on the success of health and safety systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and update your expertise in health and safety;
  • Provide health and safety training to customers, either at our training center or on their premises;
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of training programs and health and safety practices, assessments, and documents;
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and expertise;
  • Travel by car or plane to customer sites in the region or out of town;
  • Perform a variety of roles on site, including health and safety supervision, OHS support, and other related services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety;
  • One of the following certifications: ROH, CIH, CSP, or CRSP (an asset);
  • Experience as a health and safety advisor;
  • Experience in working at heights, in confined spaces, in lockout/tagout, and in developing health and safety procedures;
  • Confident in your knowledge, but able to consider all points of view.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
