**Job Description:**

We are seeking a Senior Indigenous Cultural Safety Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting reconciliation, cultural safety, and equity, diversity, and inclusion within our workplace and beyond.

In this role, you will co-create and co-lead strategies to transform our policies, structures, and practices to better reflect our commitment to systemic cross-sectoral leadership toward reconciliation. You will also lead strategic projects and regulatory initiatives addressing systemic injustice and harms.

You will work closely with our Deputy Registrar to develop and implement approaches to reconciliation with First Nations and build relationships with First Nations Governments and organizations. Your expertise in provincial and/or federal legislation related to pharmacy practice is an asset.

We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-moving environment where everyone is learning as they take steps toward reconciliation. If you have a deep understanding of Canadian colonial impacts and harms on Indigenous Peoples in social and health contexts, we want to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience implementing anti-racism, Indigenous Cultural Safety, and Humility (ICSH), equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) programs in complex organizations.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders through collaboration and partnerships.
  • Demonstrated understanding of EDI and cultural humility as they apply to healthcare.
  • Able to communicate effectively and share knowledge, expertise, and information related to department and projects internally and externally.
  • Strong partner engagement abilities with a commitment to building an effective and responsive organizational culture.
