About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Organizational Design and Operational Services team at the BC Wildfire Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide project support, coordinate meetings, and facilitate large groups of individuals. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with managers and BC Public Service Agency staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project support to the Organizational Design and Operational Services team
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and large group activities
  • Facilitate planning sessions and colead/cofacilitate with large groups of individuals
  • Organize and store hard copy and electronic records
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent and related experience
  • Experience providing office management and coordination services
  • Experience organizing and facilitating large meetings
  • Experience collating and producing materials derived from large meetings
  • Experience coleading and cofacilitating planning sessions with large groups of individuals
  • Organizing and storing hard copy and electronic records
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or training in human resource management, office management, project management, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a project management environment using project management principles and applications
  • Experience working on projects related to hiring and recruitment practices, position management, or organizational design
