Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Project Management Institute. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate and manage project activities, including task assignments, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
    • Ensure project compliance with client requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
    • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks.
    • Identify and address team performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to clients in a clear and transparent manner.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit project reports, including status updates, progress reports, and final project reports.
    • Manage project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
    • Ensure project close-out activities are completed, including final project reports, lessons learned, and project evaluation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
