We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Project Management Institute. Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project activities, including task assignments, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
- Ensure project compliance with client requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Team Management
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks.
- Identify and address team performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to clients in a clear and transparent manner.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base.
- Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and submit project reports, including status updates, progress reports, and final project reports.
- Manage project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
- Ensure project close-out activities are completed, including final project reports, lessons learned, and project evaluation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
