Job Summary:

This role involves providing exceptional client service via phone and written correspondence, updating and validating plan member and sponsor information, and administering pay direct drug cards. The successful candidate will also assist with account activations, terminations, and reinstatements, as well as provide support to other applicable Group departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent client service via phones and written correspondence
  • Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
  • Administer pay direct drug cards, including problem-solving using provider's software
  • Assist plan members and plan sponsors with account activations
  • Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions, and group contracts to ensure only eligible claims are paid
  • Provide support to other applicable Group departments by assessing and confirming member eligibility
  • Request medical evidence of insurability when necessary
  • Interpret system audit reports and take corrective action when required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • PC skills – working knowledge of MS Office, ability to learn new systems applications
  • Ability to interpret and apply contract provisions and administrative guidelines
  • Ability to handle high volume of work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
