Commercial Account Manager Opportunity

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team. As a knowledgeable expert advisor in Commercial Insurance lines of business, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a renewal book of business
  • Work closely with Producers and other staff members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal while following best practices and procedures
  • Initiate Account Planning with Producer in advance of the renewal
  • Coordinate, support plans, discuss arising issues and create comprehensive plans for existing clients
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
  • Manage account documentation (routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.)
  • Review client's current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements
  • Participate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience as a broker with 5 years working on large commercial accounts
  • Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages
  • RIBO License is required
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Tuition reimbursement for business-relevant courses and training

Must be able to work from Mississauga office 3 days per week.
