Operations Vice-President: Strategic Leadership Role

We are a leading transportation company seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring a strong foundation for future growth.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring a clear direction for the company.
- Representation: Represent the company in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring effective communication and representation of our interests.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating necessary authority and creating optimum working conditions.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, ensuring that employees are meeting expectations and providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulating and approving promotional campaigns, and approving overall human resources planning.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, with a deep understanding of the transportation industry and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with stakeholders.
