Operations Vice-President: Strategic Leadership and Management

We are a leading transportation company seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward and ensuring the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and improvement
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Resource Allocation
- Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Representation and Communication
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
- Performance Management
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to senior staff
- Team Supervision
- Supervise a team of 11-15 people and provide guidance and support as needed
- Technology and Systems
- Utilize MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows to manage and analyze data
- Area of Work Experience
- Management and product development experience
- Transportation and Travel
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
- Personal Suitability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, and organizational skills
- Experience and Education
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree
