Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reception duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Provide clerical support, such as preparing documents, maintaining files, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Organize electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring accurate and efficient information retrieval.
  • Coordinate unit administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the unit, within scope of authority.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A recognized post-secondary office administration program at the certificate level or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year recent related clerical experience.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment an asset.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset.
