Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Banquet Server to join our team at Coast Tsawwassen Inn, a premium all-suite hotel owned and operated by Century Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the hotel's quality standards in the food and beverage department.
  • Act as an ambassador for Coast, greeting guests, making them feel welcome, and handling basic enquiries.
  • Service hotel catering events, including set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of function rooms.
  • Stock supplies, maintain inventory levels, and prepare, stock, and set up/put out food and beverages.
  • Maintain function and meeting rooms, breakfast area, and common areas by vacuuming, removing trash, clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing.
  • Check on guest satisfaction and follow up on requests where possible and appropriate.

Requirements

  • Serving it Right certificate is required.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination is mandatory.
  • Previous banquet experience is an asset.
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
