Job Summary

The Breakfast Server is a key member of the Coast Tsawwassen Inn team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's breakfast program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for Century Group, greeting guests in a friendly and warm manner.
  • Set up and maintain the hotel's complimentary breakfast, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure the buffet area is clean and tidy, and tables are cleared and cleaned as soon as they become vacant.
  • Set up and refresh the lobby complimentary water and coffee station.
  • Responsible for the tear down and clean-up of breakfast, ensuring the area is clean and safe.
  • Check on guest satisfaction and follow up on requests where possible.
  • Provide service and set up of breakfast for morning meetings in the hotel function spaces.
  • Follow the close instructions of the Banquet Event Order and ensure the safety and security of the property, guests, and team members.

Requirements

  • Serving it Right certificate is required.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination is mandatory.
  • Previous banquet experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 5:30am.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
