Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Services Coordinator to join our team at Southport Daycare.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 32 hours per week with a salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, workshops, and other events as required.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to staff members or other relevant parties.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information as requested by management or supervisors.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked workspace.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member or service area.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with electronic mail systems and basic computer software.
  • High school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of related experience.
