About the Role

This is a senior-level position within Intel's Human Resources organization, reporting directly to the HR Business Partner team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resources strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influencing and Partnering with Business Leaders
    • Develop and execute an effective human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
    • Partner with business leaders to identify and address human resources-related issues and opportunities.
  • Human Resources Strategy and Planning
    • Manage the human resources strategy, including identifying, aligning, and optimizing HR programs, processes, and services to enable business success.
    • Conduct workforce planning and organization assessment to support incremental and transformational organizational change.
  • Leadership Development and Coaching
    • Conduct effectiveness coaching with senior leaders to improve leadership capability or resolve leadership gaps.
    • Coach, mentor, and advise employees at all levels to help drive growth and development.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Encourage positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health.
    • Act as a steward of corporate HR practices, guidelines, and policies, and role model Altera's culture and values.
  • Talent Management and Acquisition
    • Use credible domain expertise to lead talent decisions, forecasting, and workforce planning, in partnership with business and Talent Acquisition partners.
    • Provide advice and counsel to executives and senior leaders on all talent matters, including key talent, organizational planning, succession, talent reviews, recognition and rewards, performance improvement, terminations, employee relations issues, and corporate people movement.
  • Business Acumen and Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Use data to understand the health of talent and related HR services within the business and develop interventions in partnership with the COEs to resolve business challenges.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations, as well as HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 5+ years' experience with three or more of the core aspects of human resource management, including employee relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching, change management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational planning.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making with leaders and business partners.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
    • Experience conducting investigations and managing a structured performance management process.
    • Consultative style and approach, with the ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
    • Demonstrated experience successfully partnering with executives and managers in support of business objectives.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR Certification
    • HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR.
  • Master's Degree
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Work Environment

This role will require an on-site presence.
