About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business partners to advance our business strategies, leadership, and cultural imperatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advice and Support - Provide strategic advice and proactive support to our business partners to advance business strategies, leadership, and cultural imperatives.
  • Talent Management and Development - Translate business needs into integrated Human Resource solutions to fully leverage people management, employee capability, and organizational development.
  • HR Planning and Integration - Plan and coordinate the delivery of annual Corporate HR initiatives related to Performance Management, Talent Planning, Base Pay, and Incentive Pay.
  • Employee Relations and Inclusion - Provide value-added advice and counsel in all areas of Human Resources including performance management, rewards and recognition, recruitment and retention, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, and inclusion and diversity.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR Generalist or Consulting Role - Demonstrate experience in an HR Generalist or consulting role and have a solid understanding of HR concepts, policies, practices, and governance/legislation.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills - Possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage the demands of the client group and present business-specific HR requirements and/or issues to the centres.
  • Collaboration and Influence - Inspire outcomes by making yourself heard, and proactively seek new opportunities to define what's possible.
