Job Summary

The Front Desk Associate serves as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience at Marriott International properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth arrival process.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing clear directions and navigating them to their destinations.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, highlighting the unique features and benefits of the hotel.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, ice and vending areas, in-room safes, and valet laundry services.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience for guests.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage.
  • Supply guests with directions, arranging transportation as needed and recording advance requests when required.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring a seamless experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification necessary.

The starting pay for this position is $17.40 per hour, the 6-month pay is $18.63 per hour, and the one-year pay is $21.29 per hour as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
