Strategic Business Development Lead

At Lifemark, we are seeking an exceptional Strategic Business Development Lead to drive our growth and expansion in the Canadian healthcare market.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in business development to join our Corporate Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business strategies to drive leads, foster partnerships, and enhance our position in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with our overall objectives and acquisition growth targets in the healthcare sector.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify expansion opportunities, and assess market trends and competitive threats.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry associations, advisors, and other relevant organizations to explore collaboration opportunities.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships that align with our corporate development strategic priorities.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential partners, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, and provide regular updates to senior management on progress against targets.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits and incentives.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity, advanced degree preferred, and excellent analytical, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
