Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Director to join our team at Sherwood Innovations Inc.

About the Role

The Strategic Business Development Director will be responsible for leading our business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, and driving growth. This is a permanent position that requires 30-35 hours of work per week.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar field.

This is a senior leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, ability to lead teams, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals to achieve business objectives, provide guidance, and mentorship.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and make informed decisions to optimize resources.
  • Human Resources: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a business development or marketing capacity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills; ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders; and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
