About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our national Claims team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, Corporate and Atlantic Claims, you will be a key member of a collaborative HR team located across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide coaching, professional guidance, and advice on human resources management, ensuring compliance with legislation and company values.
- Assist with investigations, aid managers in conflict resolution, and analyze data to recommend solutions.
- Search and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and share findings with the leadership team.
- Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
- Participate in the deployment of Business Unit initiatives and corporate programs.
- University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with three (3) years of experience in human resources or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a multi-site, matrix organization and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence, and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
- Rigor, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Knowledge in various areas of human resources, including talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
- CHRP and/or CHRL designation preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
