About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our national Claims team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, Corporate and Atlantic Claims, you will be a key member of a collaborative HR team located across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching, professional guidance, and advice on human resources management, ensuring compliance with legislation and company values.
  • Assist with investigations, aid managers in conflict resolution, and analyze data to recommend solutions.
  • Search and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and share findings with the leadership team.
  • Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
  • Participate in the deployment of Business Unit initiatives and corporate programs.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with three (3) years of experience in human resources or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a multi-site, matrix organization and adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence, and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
  • Rigor, analytical, and synthesis skills.
  • Knowledge in various areas of human resources, including talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
