About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, ensuring that all staff are able to work effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
