We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and safe for staff and customers.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and ensuring that all kitchen staff are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, and team player.
