Lead Software Developer and Product Architect

We develop and provide Product Information Management (PIM) software solutions to manage product, part, and pricing management, cataloguing, and publishing processes. Our mission is to deliver next-generation advanced PIM and e-Commerce solutions.
Job Description
The Lead Software Developer and Product Architect will lead our software development team in designing, developing, and implementing our AutoPIM Pro family of software products and applications. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing complex projects. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to clarify and validate requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and guide the team in implementing necessary features.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback through regular sessions.
- Sprint Management: Plan, refine stories, and lead daily sprints while monitoring progress and escalating impediments or risks.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on architectural decisions, design patterns, and technology selections. Develop prototypes and common libraries.
- Technical Documentation: Ensure the creation and maintenance of accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, sequence diagrams, and coding guidelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with clients and end-users to ensure customer satisfaction.
Desirable Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading software development teams in a hands-on business environment.
- Experience delivering mission-critical projects using C#, ASP.NET MVC Core, .NET 6, and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of HTML5, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS would be an asset.
- A proven track record of building customer relationships and learning about customers' businesses.
- Experience allocating resources effectively to meet commitments across multiple projects.
- Strong working knowledge of current and emerging technologies and methodologies like Agile.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for project planning, management, and execution is highly desirable.

- Must be a Canadian Citizen or eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Holder of a valid passport.
