Pricedex Software, a Canadian software technology company, seeks an experienced Senior Software Development Team Lead to lead our software development and implementation team. We are a leader in the global automotive, commercial vehicle, and industrial equipment aftermarkets, providing Product Information Management (PIM) software solutions to manage all aspects of product, part, and pricing management, cataloging, and publishing processes.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing complex project schedules. The successful candidate will assist in developing our product path, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of our software products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and validate requirements for each sprint, translating them into technical specifications and guiding the team in implementing the necessary features.
  • Sprint Management: Plan, refine, and lead sprints, assign tasks to individual members, monitor progress, and escalate impediments or risks to ensure timely completion.
  • Technical Leadership: Assist in architectural decisions, design pattern implementations, technology selections, and solution structure guidance.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure creation and maintenance of accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, sequence diagrams for complex workflows, and coding guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with clients and end-users, gather feedback, and report concerns to the Director for prompt resolution.
Desirable Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years' experience leading software development teams in a hands-on business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering mission-critical software development projects using C#, ASP.NET MVC Core, .NET 6, and SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS would be an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of current and emerging technologies and methodologies, such as Agile.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps to plan, manage, and execute projects.
