Komatsu Mining Corp. is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the mining industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team in Sudbury, Ontario or within 400km of this location.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement product line strategies to drive business growth and market share.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product direction and ensure market-driven product development.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure functional specifications are met and products are developed to meet customer needs.
- Maintain and establish relationships with customers and sales teams to educate and promote product lines and services.
- Liaise with technical product support, engineering, and sales teams to resolve technical issues and provide product enhancements.
- Gather and maintain competitive pricing models and market data for underground drilling products.
- Support commercial and aftermarket teams for drill rigs through planning, training, and program development.
- Work with Marketing and Drills Product Management to launch products, programs, and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience working with drill technologies and strong hydraulic, electrical knowledge.
- Direct mining/equipment application experience with similar equipment.
- Knowledge of the drilling market in mining operations.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Commercial aptitude and experience with market analysis, sales upselling, and sales forecasting.
- Strong computer skills and organizational project management skills.
- Valid passport and driver's license with ability to travel globally.
- Proficiency in English language, written and oral.
