Sr. Product Manager, Hard Rock- North American Division

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for our Underground Hardrock product lines, focusing on Drills, Bolters, Rockdrills, and Retrofits. You will work closely with technical product support, engineering personnel, account managers, and third-party dealers to advise on technical issues, potential solutions, or product enhancements to mitigate negative impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for Underground Hardrock product lines
  • Liaise with technical product support, engineering personnel, account managers, and third-party dealers
  • Advise on technical issues, potential solutions, or product enhancements
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing and greenfield customers, as well as EPCM's
  • Sustain and grow OE and Service revenue and market share
  • Work with the sales team to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction
  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals to existing and prospective customers
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence efforts, and lead cross-functional teams to develop product sales strategy and ensure market-driven product direction
  • Presentation of new product line developments to existing and new customers
  • Set and support the direction for new product development initiatives from project launch to commercialization throughout North America
  • Conduct audits and undertake on-site condition assessments of products

Requirements:

  • Trade or engineering qualification, or extensive prior product and technical training within a similar role
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • 5+ years in underground mining, with product and solution sales and commercial experience
  • Full understanding of Site Safety and Environmental protocols
  • Demonstrated customer management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting proposals, and RFQ management
  • Project co-ordination experience and ability to conceptualize and plan a scope of work
  • Must have excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Salesforce knowledge an advantage)
  • Technical competence related to the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment is vital
