Retail Store Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at DL Pharmacy Incorporated.
Job Summary:The Department Head will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training employees, and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Hire and train new employees, or arrange for their training.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash.
- Establish work schedules and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
