We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at DL Pharmacy Incorporated. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff
You will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff. This will involve assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all staff members are working together effectively to achieve our store's goals.
Operational ManagementYou will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service. This will involve organizing and maintaining inventory, managing cash and credit transactions, and resolving customer complaints and issues.
Leadership and CommunicationYou will be responsible for leading and communicating with staff, customers, and other stakeholders. This will involve providing clear and concise instructions, resolving conflicts and issues, and communicating effectively with customers and staff.
Performance ManagementYou will be responsible for monitoring and managing the performance of staff, including providing feedback and coaching to improve performance. This will involve setting goals and objectives, monitoring progress, and taking corrective action when necessary.
Requirements- Experience
1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role.
EducationNo degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
Work SettingThis role is based in a retail business environment.
Work LanguageThe primary language spoken in this role is English.
HoursThis role requires a 40-hour workweek.
