Retail Store Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at DL Pharmacy Incorporated.
Job Summary:The Department Head will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and managing cash. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues and maintain inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Manage cash
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to resolve issues and maintain inventory
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
