Job Summary

WHI, a leading innovator in the agricultural, horticultural, and home and garden market segments, is seeking a seasoned Sales and Marketing Director to drive growth and expansion in Canada and internationally.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales management and personal sales skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to recruit, train, lead, and motivate a sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the sales teams and manage the agent and distributor teams
  • Develop sales strategies and drive revenue growth across the business
  • Manage key client relationships personally and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Recruit, train, and lead a sales team to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement a multi-market, multi-use marketing strategy with verticals in various target markets

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management and personal sales skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, lead, and motivate a sales team
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the national and international agricultural, horticultural, and/or home and garden markets
  • Demonstrable track record of product sales and strong sales growth
