Job Summary:

The Director of Sales and Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue for Busology. This position will lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales targets and grow the company's customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Analyze market trends and competitor research to inform sales and marketing strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to improve sales performance
  • Collaborate with the product management team to develop sales enablement materials
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Busology's value proposition and competitive landscape

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of direct professional sales experience with successful software sales
  • 5+ years of sales and/or marketing management experience
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Sales-oriented personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid financial acumen to determine the value of deals brought forward
  • Solid problem-solving and consultative skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales and marketing team environment with minimum supervision
