About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Co-operators. As a key member of our leadership development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop engaging learning materials, including content, presentations, and job aids, to support various leadership development initiatives.
  2. Analyze the company's leadership development requirements through consultations with leaders, data examination, and research.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DEI concepts and cooperative values throughout our leadership programs.
  4. Lead and manage small-scale leadership development projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.
  5. Engage in sustainment activities to ensure continuous learning and tracking of learning metrics.
  6. Manage the Talent Development SharePoint site and work with Communications to deliver impactful leadership development messages.
  7. Create and launch communication campaigns to support engagement and enrollment in leadership development programs.

About You

  • You have experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, and leadership development strategies.
  • You possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and effectively work with various team members.
  • You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and have a can-do attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate/advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
