Job Summary:

Foster a culture of excellence as the Regional Sales Director for Mexico and Central America, driving business growth and client satisfaction for 532 FLSmidth S.A. de C.V.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and strengthen client relationships through regular visits and strategic business development initiatives.

• Lead the identification of business opportunities and manage account lifecycles to achieve order intake and market growth objectives.

• Establish and implement a tactical business plan and budget aligned with the overall sales strategy, providing leadership on the long-term strategic direction for the Sales Area.

• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring CRM data accuracy by monitoring industry trends, customer needs, and market information.

• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Site Account Managers, Key Account Managers, and Consumables Solution Specialists, building their capabilities to support overall Sales Area strategy.

• Oversee regional sales costs and budgets, and be accountable for sales performance, contribution margins, and business development results.

• Analyze market trends, data, and project information to forecast opportunities for a 0–5 year outlook, contributing to the strategic direction of the Sales Area.

• Act as a general representative for the Sales Area, managing external relationships and resolving disputes, warranty issues, and accounts receivables.

• Interface with Regional Service Line Management to drive order intake growth and contribute to SIOP processes for parts demand forecasting.

• Promote a culture of safety, ensuring that operational activities prioritize the well-being of the team and others affected.

• Budget for and communicate key marketing requirements, including trade shows, conferences, and client events.

Form part of the Mexican Leadership team supporting the development of the Global Business Center in Monterrey and representing FLS' legal entities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on B2B environments.

• Proven track record of strategic business development and sales management.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive leadership.

• Willingness to travel up to 65% within the Sales Area.
