Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Legal

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Sylvestre Painchaud et associés. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and court sessions
  • Maintain a filing system and ensure documents are up-to-date
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a law firm or legal department
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
