**Project Engineer - Infrastructure Development**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the planning, construction, and maintenance of water, sanitary, and storm sewer systems.
- Undertake engineering studies and ensure that studies are conducted by qualified consultants.
- Support project concept development by preparing feasibility studies, construction plans, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate community consultation events and engagement.
- Oversee all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
- Ensure deliverables meet project scope and budget.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demands to plan and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare project grant funding submissions and monitor progress.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of construction, appraisal, feasibility analysis, community consultation, and municipal development approval processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands simultaneously.
- Effective communication, leadership, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
