Role Overview

The Project Engineer will report directly to the Planning & Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the comprehensive management of capital projects from inception to completion. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the strategic objectives of Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead the planning, construction, and maintenance of essential services such as water, sewer, and road systems.
  • Project Coordination: Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to project specifications and financial constraints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate community consultations and maintain communication with all project stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration.
  • Grant Management: Prepare and monitor project funding applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project records and prepare regular status reports for management review.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligibility for registration with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in civil engineering, project management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
