About Kiu Japanese Restaurant:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Kiu Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious Japanese cuisine that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000 based on industry standards and the location of the restaurant.

Job Description:

As an Executive Chef, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for managing kitchen staff, training new employees, and maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be standing for extended periods. You must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
