Job Description
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements, taking into account seasonal availability and customer preferences.
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs, ensuring that we offer competitive pricing without compromising on quality.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, using fresh ingredients and adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, managing inventory and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant certifications, such as food safety and hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including gratuities, free parking, and opportunities for professional development.
