Business Development Director for Retail Partnerships

About the RoleWe seek an exceptional Business Development Director for Retail Partnerships to lead our most strategic partnerships across North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and forging long-term relationships with top-tier retailers.
Your primary objective will be to develop and execute a partnership strategy that meets or exceeds revenue targets. You will leverage your expertise in account management, leadership, and coaching to foster a high-performing team that delivers exceptional results.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Operations, Partner Technology, and Finance, to drive business outcomes and achieve revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior contacts at our partner retailers, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence within your team, providing ongoing training, feedback, and career development opportunities.
You will also be responsible for managing revenue forecasting, performance metrics, and escalation points for your accounts. Your ability to navigate complex situations, think critically, and find win-win solutions will be invaluable in this role.
RequirementsTo succeed in this position, you will need:
- 7+ years of sales experience in CPG, Digital Media, or Technology, with a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts.
- Experience leading and coaching high-performing teams, with a focus on developing talent and driving business results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level contacts.
