About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting our team of PSWs and HSWs to ensure they provide high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support PSWs and HSWs to ensure they comply with legislated standards of practice and company policies.
- Respond to and resolve concerns from community staff, patients, and families.
- Provide ongoing leadership through regular meetings and one-on-ones.
- Initiate patient safety incident investigations and document to ensure timelines and action plans are met.
- Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements.
- Engage patients in problem-solving using a collaborative approach.
- Engage staff in problem-solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements:
- Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
- Comprehensive patient health assessment skills.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Commitment to professional development in clinical practice.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
