Job Summary:

The Engineering Sales position at O'Dell HVAC Group is a key role responsible for selling products and equipment to engineers assigned to projects. This position involves developing and maintaining customer and vendor relationships, primarily dealing with high-level accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive engineering specifications to secure business opportunities
- Support business development and sales teams
- Manage engineering accounts and prospect for new customers

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of experience in engineering sales within the HVAC market
- Mechanical Engineering degree or similar technical education
- Ability to read construction drawings and perform accurate take-offs and pricing
- Expertise in sales techniques and strong customer service skills
- Valid G driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with quoting or project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience with HVAC selection software
- Working knowledge of The Ontario Building Code and associated ASHRAE Standards
