About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Investment Lead to join our team at the Government of Nova Scotia. As a valued member of our System Integration Digital Health team, you will play a critical role in driving the digital health agenda and informing investment decisions.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital investment strategy to drive business growth and improve health outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of digital investments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize returns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement measurement plans and report on digital health impact and investment decisions.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in digital delivery and develop strategies to address these gaps.
  • Support the development of policy and guidelines to ensure alignment with government priorities.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree plus 6 years of progressive experience in a related field. You will also possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of process mapping, lean methodologies, and improvement.
  • Experience managing engagement with internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of government and the NS health system.
