About Our Opportunity

We're seeking a Digital Investment Lead to join our System Integration Digital Health team. This position will be responsible for obtaining a deep understanding of the digital investments made within the Nova Scotia Health System and assessing the benefits and returns on investments. The successful candidate will provide insights to guide digital health impact and investment decisions in Nova Scotia.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Conduct health economist assessments of benefits and returns made through digital investments and initiatives.
  • Develop robust measurement plans and report through data, insights, and engagement to inform how we measure and assess in digital.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in digital delivery.
  • Support the development of policy and guidelines.
  • Act as a compassionate leader advocating on behalf of the public.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree plus 6 years of progressive experience in a related field. An acceptable equivalent combination of training or experience may be considered.

  • A relationship builder, problem solver, and continuous learner.
  • Deep understanding of process mapping, lean methodologies, and improvement.
  • A servant leader who is passionate about driving change on behalf of the public.
  • Highly organized, confident communicator, and advisor.

The successful candidate will possess significant experience managing engagement with internal and/or external stakeholders, extensive knowledge and understanding of government, and familiarity with the NS health system. Excellent strategizing, organizational, and planning skills are also required. Superior project management and time management skills are essential. The ability to learn new programs and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for correspondence management would be considered an asset.
