Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Schlegel Villages.


About the Role: As an RPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications and treatments
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote residents' independence and quality of life
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on various health-related topics
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, hold a current Heart Save Level of CPR, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MDS credentials
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations, and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector
