- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and resolve any concerns that may arise.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Successful completion of an approved medication course for RPNs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as collaboration and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility in work schedule, including shifts and every other weekend. The successful candidate must also be able to perform all necessary physical tasks associated with the care and assistance of residents.
