About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our hemodialysis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $81,000 and $112,000 based on 40 hours of work per week. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to employee wellness programs.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our hemodialysis department, you will be responsible for:

  • Care of chronic hemodialysis patients
  • Patient teaching and education
  • Initiation and discontinuation of dialysis treatments
  • Preparation and maintenance of dialysis machines
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of dialysis treatments
  • Primary nursing follow-up of chronic patients
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Preference given to those individuals possessing Cneph Certification
  • Experience in hemodialysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
